NEON has released a new English subtitled trailer for the live-action film adaptation of PLAYISM and KOTAKE CREATE’s horror game The Exit 8, which opens on April 10 in theaters across North America.
Back in August 2025, NEON acquired the North American rights for The Exit 8 for a North American theatrical premiere. TOHO produced the new live-action film, writer and director Genki Kawamura led the production, and Kazunari Ninomiya is the star of The Exit 8.
The Exit 8 has sold over two million copies sold worldwide. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Exit 8 features new anomalies, which were added to the Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and Xbox Series X|S versions in a free update.
