Konami has announced that Silent Hill f is getting a new manga adaptation with a new ending by Ryukishi07. The new Silent Hill f manga will be serialized in Kodansha’s Young Ace UP web magazine with illustration by Gokin Ame.
Silent Hill f is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, Windows, and GOG. The staff of Silent Hill f includes producer Motoi Okamoto, scriptwriter Ryukishi07, composers Akira Yamaoka and Kensuke Inage, and character and creature designer kera. Suzie Yeung stars as protagonist Hinako in the English dub.
Since launch, the game has already received an official novelization by author Shiro Kuro in Japan. What’s more, Konami and Bloober Team released the version 1.11 update for Silent Hill f to remove Red Capsules from a specific sequence in New Game+. Update 1.11 also applies bug fixes to the “No One Left Behind” achievement and other minor issues.
Final Weapon previously reviewed Silent Hill f and gave it a 4.5 out of 5 score, noting that the game’s story is “told wonderfully and manages to convey its themes with the right amount of care, thanks to some great writing and the arc of its protagonist, Shimizu Hinako. Further, the combat-focused gameplay turned out to be surprisingly addictive, while still managing to be tense thanks to some great monster designs.”
