Squanch Games announced that the Nintendo Switch 2 version of High on Life 2 has been delayed from its original April 20 release date to July 1. Since High on Life 2 has been delayed, digital pre-orders will be canceled, and physical shipments have shifted into July.
High on Life 2 will be available digitally and physically for $59.99 for Switch 2. The physical release of High on Life 2 for Nintendo Switch 2 ships on a Game-Key Card, meaning that the game’s data must be downloaded after the cartridge is inserted into the system. Pre-orders are available now at Amazon and GameStop.

Greetings players! As the Squanch Games team continues to champion delivering the highest quality experiences, we have elected to (slightly) delay the release of High On Life 2 for Nintendo Switch 2. The additional elbow grease towards production will ultimately allow the studio to better meet not only our high standards for gaming, but yours as well.
That being said, High On Life 2’s debut on the console will shift from April 20th to July 1st of 2026.
Any digital preorders already placed will be canceled. Physical preorders will remain in place, with shipment expected in July.
