Devsisters has announced a new entry in the CookieRun franchise, titled CookieRun: New World, which will release in 2029. It will be available for PC and mobile devices, as well as consoles, though the exact consoles it will release on are currently unknown.
Devsisters describes CookieRun: New World as an “open-world adventure game,” and the “most ambitious title to date.” It takes place after the era of the legendary Five Heroes, and follows a new journey across the Cookie continent as a mysterious darkness returns. The 2029 launch will commemorate the franchise’s 30th anniversary. Check out the first trailer for CookieRun: New World below:
The CookieRun mobile game franchise features over 300 million players and has earned more than 1 billion dollars in revenue. The most beloved entry in the series, CookieRun: Kingdom, is available now on iOS and Android. The Google Play Store describes the game as follows:
