The Pokémon Company has announced that three plushies based on Pokémon Pokopia will release in summer 2026. It is unknown (though quite likely) if more plushies based on the game will release in the future.
The three available Pokopia plushies will be for Peakychu, Mosslax, and Professor Tangrowth. Peakychu is a mysteriously pale variant of Pikachu, Mosslax is a version of Snorlax covered in moss and foliage, while Professor Tangrowth is a highly intelligent version of Tangrowth that wears glasses. Check out the announcement post showcasing these plushies below:
Pokémon Pokopia is available now on Nintendo Switch 2 for $69.99 digitally and physically as a Game-Key Card title. Final Weapon reviewed the game and gave it a 4.5/5. We described it as an experience which “shattered pretty much all the expectations I had of this game, and it deserves every praise it can get. This is precisely the type of game that, even if you boot it up for just a few short minutes, I guarantee you there will always be something that can be done, and before you notice, it’s been half an hour, and you’re still engrossed in it. Whether that time be spent looking for artifacts, decorating your islands, or even meeting new Pokémon, there’s something for everyone to enjoy here.”
Lastly, here’s an overview of the game, via Nintendo:
Pokémon and people once lived happily together, but the world has withered and the humans are gone. The only remaining resident appears to be a lone Tangrowth.
After waking from a long slumber, a peculiar Ditto decides to restore the desolate land using its transformation skills and its surprising new crafting abilities.
