A newly launched website for the Battle Spirits multimedia franchise has revealed that the new anime series, titled Battle Spirits [Re] Zekkai no Kū, premieres in fall 2026. A new promotional video, visual, main cast, and staff members were also revealed.
The main cast of the new Battle Spirits [Re] Zekkai no Kū anime includes Taichi Kusano as Kū Bashin and Daiki Hamano as Zetsu Ajara. Masashi Kudo directs the anime at Bandai Namco Pictures and provides the original character designs. Toshizo Nemoto handles the series scripts, and Bandai Namco Pictures is planning the production.
Bandai launched the original Battle Spirits card game in 2008. Within the game, cards represent creatures like dragons, demons, birds, insects, and others. Players can control these spirits in battle. The most recent game in the multimedia franchise, Battle Spirits: Connected Battlers, released in 2022.
