Akatsuki Games, TOHO CO., and Production I.G have released Main Story Chapter 9 and a new 5-Star Character in KAIJU No. 8 THE GAME. The additions come as part of the third round of the game’s ongoing Half-Year Anniversary celebration.
The 5-Star Character “[New Possibilities] Soshiro Hoshina” is available, who utilizes twin swords. One of the new twin swords the update adds is a 5-Star Weapon titled “SW-Ihcatiamak.” There’s also a new mini special event, titled “[The Prized Shuriken Technique].” Here, you can play through a bite-sized story and quests to earn a new Home background, also featured in the story, and over 1,000 Dimensional Crystals.
