Koei Tecmo and Omega Force have announced that Dynasty Warriors: Origins + Visions of Four Heroes Original Soundtrack will release on March 9. The original soundtrack includes 97 BGM and bonus tracks from the Dynasty Warriors: Origins Original Soundtrack, along with 11 new tracks created for the Visions of Four Heroes DLC. The soundtrack will be available for download and streaming on various services, with more details to come soon.
Previously, Koei Tecmo and Omega Force released a Lunar New Year-themed update for Dynasty Warriors: Origins featuring the new Gold Hare horse. The Dynasty Warriors: Origins update is available now on all platforms, and players who made sufficient in-game progression can retrieve the Gold Hare horse immediately after installing the update.
The “Visions of Four Heroes” DLC expansion for Dynasty Warriors: Origins launched on January 22 alongside the game’s Nintendo Switch 2 version. Dynasty Warriors: Origins Visions of Four Heroes adds new stories featuring the main cast of heroes, along with new allies, weapons, and much more.
Dynasty Warriors: Origins is available now for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon’s 4/5 review of Dynasty Warriors: Origins notes that the game is “a great time, acting as an excellent entry point for newcomers and a treat for series veterans as well.”
The Nintendo Switch 2 version of Dynasty Warriors: Origins runs at a stable 30 FPS. According to producer Tomohiko Sho, Dynasty Warriors: Origins could have reached 60 FPS on Switch 2, but it would have required a reduction of the number of overall soldiers on screen to “the same amount as prior Warriors series entries,” so the team opted for a stable 30 FPS instead.
