Witch Hat Atelier Anime Reveals New Clip

A new clip for the anime adaptation of Kamome Shirahama’s Witch Hat Atelier manga was revealed at IGN Fan Fest 2026. The clip is one minute and 20 seconds long, giving fans a sneak peek before the Witch Hat Atelier anime premieres on April 6.

Witch Hat Atelier premieres on April 6 at 11:00 p.m. on Tokyo MX and on other channels, and Crunchyroll will stream the anime.

Eve performs the opening theme song “Kaze no Anthem (Anthem of Wind) feat. suis from yorushika,” and  Nakamura Hak performs the ending theme song “Tada Utsukushii no Noroi (Just a Beautiful Curse).”

The cast of the anime includes:

  • Rena Motomura as Coco
  • Natsuki Hanae as Qifrey
  • Hibiku Yamamura as Agott
  • Kurumi Haruki as Tetia
  • Hika Tsukishiro as Richeh
  • Yūichi Nakamura as Olruggio
  • Misaki Kuno as Brushbuddy (Fudemushi)
  • Mitsuki Saiga as Iguin (new)

Ayumu Watanabe will direct the series at BUG FILMS, Hiroaki Kojima will produce the series, and Yuka Kitamura (Elden Ring) will compose the music. Kairi Unabara is designing the characters of the anime series.

The Witch Hat Atelier manga has surpassed 7 million copies in circulation. What’s more, Kodansha will ship a new novel adaptation titled Shōsetsu Tongari Bōshi no Atelier Special Stories. The new novel is written by One Piece novel HEROINES author Jun Esaka, with Shirahama credited for supervision and the original work.

Kodansha USA Publishing releases the Witch Hat Atelier manga in English and describes the series as follows:

In a world where everyone takes wonders like magic spells and dragons for granted, Coco is a girl with a simple dream: She wants to be a witch.
