The staff of the BAKI-DOU: The Invincible Samurai anime series have revealed a new ukiyo-e visual by KOJIMAN, a Sapporo-based artist known for fusing traditional ukiyo-e aesthetics with contemporary street culture. The new BAKI-DOU ukiyo-e visual depicts a bout between Baki Hanma and Miyamoto Musashi in a modern reimagining of “Battle of Ganryujima.”
What’s more, TMS Entertainment will host the “Anime BAKI-DOU: Pre-Release Special — The Ultimate Behind-the-Scenes Stories, Finally Revealed!!” livestream will be held on February 20 at 8:00 p.m. JST on the TMS Anime Official YouTube channel.
