PlayStation and Arc System Works have announced that Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will release on August 6 for PS5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Additionally, the latest trailer reveals that Wolverine, Magik, and Danger will join the game’s roster.
Magik, Danger, and Wolverine will join Storm in one of the game’s teams, “The Unbreakable X-Men.” So far, the roster also includes Captain America (Steve Rogers), Doctor Doom, Ghost Rider (Robbie Reyes), Iron Man, Ms. Marvel (Kamala Khan), Spider-Man (Peter Parker), and Star-Lord. 20 characters will be part of the roster at launch. Pre-orders for Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls will go live on February 19. An Ultimate Edition will be available to purchase, which will include a Year One Character and Stage Pass (which features 4 playable characters and an extra stage), a Howard the Duck lobby avatar, a Cosmo lobby pet, different colors for all 20 characters, and the following costumes:
- Spider-Man – Advanced Suit 2.0 From Marvel’s Spider-Man 2
- Storm – Punk Rock Costume
- Iron Man – Classic Costume
- Captain America – Classic Costume
- Doctor Doom – Supreme Ruler Costume
Additionally, those who pre-order the game will get access to the Infinity Gauntlet lobby equipment, Cosmic Surfboard lobby ride, and Baby Groot lobby pet. MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls is being developed by Arc System Works in cooperation with Marvel Games and Sony Interactive Entertainment. It will release for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store.
