Tonight, Fortnite leaker AdiraFNInfo has shared that a Kingdom Hearts collaboration is in active development and is set to release in the coming months. This would mark yet another major collaboration between the massive free-to-play game and Disney, following collabs like Pirates of the Caribbean, Marvel, The Incredibles, and more.
In 2024, a rumor that a Kingdom Hearts collaboration with Fortnite was planned spread online, but it has not happened as of now. This new report from notable Fortnite leakers is the first we’ve heard of this collaboration since.
It’s unclear what this collaboration could bring, whether skins, items, music, or a new mode. Until more information is revealed or referenced in the datamines, it’s likely Fortnite reporters will not have any more information to share.
Kingdom Hearts IV is currently in active development at Square Enix. The company shared in May of last year that it “can’t wait to share more about Kingdom Hearts IV when the time is right”, following the cancellation of Kingdom Hearts Missing-Link. Tetsuya Nomura shared in September that the game’s development was “progressing smoothly”.
