Square Enix has announced PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse, a new horror mystery visual novel launching on February 19 for Nintendo Switch, Android, iOS, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders for PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse open today in the Nintendo eShop.

Set in the coastal region of Ise-shima, Japan, this original standalone story introduces new atmospheric locations, supernatural legends, and a new cast of characters to experience as players navigate the chilling mysteries surrounding the Mermaids of Ise. PARANORMASIGHT: The Mermaid’s Curse launches on Nintendo Switch Feb. 19.
Previously, Square Enix launched a manga adaptation for PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo, dubbed PARANORMASIGHT: File 25 – Reikan Shōjō Kurosuzu Mio no Kaigō (PARANORMASIGHT: File 25 – The Chance Encounter of Psychic Girl Mio Kurosuzu), by Hinase Momoyama. The new PARANORMASIGHT manga is being serialized on Square Enix’s Manga Up! platform.
PARANORMASIGHT: File 25 – The Chance Encounter of Psychic Girl Mio Kurosuzu features an original story set after the events of the game in Tokyo’s Sumida ward. In the story, two girls investigate a legend surrounding northern Tokyo. The story was created by staff of the original game.
PARANORMASIGHT: The Seven Mysteries of Honjo launched on March 9, 2023 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam.
