Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S Versions Out Now

Team Cherry has released Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition in the Nintendo eShop alongside the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions of the game for $15. Fans who own the Nintendo Switch version of Hollow Knight can upgrade to Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition for free, and those who already own the game on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One can also upgrade for free. 

Hollow Knight Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features all the updates and enhancements that Hollow Knight: Silksong received, including high frame-rate modes, higher resolutions, and additional graphical effects. These same updates were also introduced in the new PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S versions, and the PC (Steam) version was also updated with the same new features, full 21:9 and 16:10 support, and “under-the-hood” improvements.

What’s more, fans can look forward to the new “Sea of Sorrow” expansion for Hollow Knight: Silksong, which will launch in 2026 for free. Hollow Knight: Silksong Sea of Sorrow features new areas, bosses, tools, and much more. 

Lastly, Hollow Knight: Silksong is available now for $19.99 for Nintendo Switch, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Xbox Game Pass subscribers receive Hollow Knight: Silksong at no additional cost with their membership.
