Astrolabe Games has revealed new details about “Extreme Zone” content in roguelite action game BlazBlue Entropy Effect X. Serving as the game’s most challenging mode, Extreme Zone is unlocked after reaching certain progression milestones in BlazBlue Entropy Effect X. The depths of the Sea of Possibility holds the Void, where ten powerful elite enemies may appear at random and Takemikazuchi and Hades: Izanami await at the very end.
What’s more, BlazBlue Entropy Effect X will feature Dead Cells protagonist The Beheaded and the titular heroine of ICEY as free playable characters at launch. Players can unlock these characters from Dead Cells and ICEY by completing their respective crossover stages, which are faithful to their original games and offer immersive elements to returning players.
BlazBlue Entropy Effect X will launch on February 12 worldwide for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Pre-orders for the BlazBlue Entropy Effect X Digital Standard Edition ($24.99) and Deluxe Edition ($34.99) are available now on PlayStation Store, Microsoft Store, and Nintendo eShop.
Deluxe Edition contents include the BlazBlue Character Palette [The Other Side] (14 characters, additional palettes for future characters), BlazBlue Character Palette [X-File] (14 Characters, no additional palettes for future characters), original soundtrack (5 sets, 91 tracks), and four chibi avatars.
Further, physical Deluxe Editions for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch are available to pre-order and release the same day worldwide.
