NEON will begin screening the live-action film adaptation of PLAYISM and KOTAKE CREATE’s horror game The Exit 8 on April 10 in North America, according to a new report from Deadline.
Back in August 2025, NEON acquired the North American rights for The Exit 8 for a North American theatrical premiere. TOHO produced the new live-action film, writer and director Genki Kawamura led the production, and Kazunari Ninomiya is the star of The Exit 8.
The Exit 8 has sold over two million copies sold worldwide. The Nintendo Switch 2 version of The Exit 8 features new anomalies, which were added to the Nintendo Switch, PC (Steam), PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, and Xbox Series X|S versions in a free update.
