Type-Moon has announced that Fate/Grand Order Arcade will be shutting down on March 31 at 1:59 a.m. JST, rendering all game modes unplayable. Before Fate/Grand Order Arcade shuts down for good, there will be a collaboration event with a SEGA arcade title, according to the game’s website.
Fate/Grand Order Arcade launched as a team-battle action game in July 2018 in Japan, three years after the Fate/Grand Order mobile game launched. Although Fate/Grand Order Arcade never came to the west, Fate/Grand Order was released in English for Android and iOS in the United States and Canada in June 2017.
Fate/strange Fake, the latest anime in the Fate series, is currently streaming on Crunchyroll with original Japanese voice-overs and an English dub. The anime adapts Ryohgo Narita’s Fate/strange Fake spinoff story, which has been published in light novel form in Japan. The anime’s opening theme song is “Provant” by SawanoHiroyuki[nZk], Jean-Ken Johnny (MAN WITH A MISSION), and TAKUMA (10-FEET). 13.3g performs the ending theme song “Potential Love.”
What’s more, Fate/EXTRA Record, a remake of the original Fate/EXTRA, will launch in spring 2026 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. One of the key characters in this remake is Arcueid Brunestud, the main heroine of Tsukihime -A piece of blue glass moon-.
Fate/hollow ataraxia Remastered launched on August 7, 2025 for Nintendo Switch and PC via Steam as the latest game release in the franchise. Like Fate/stay night Remastered, HD 16:9 visuals and support for English, Japanese, and Simplified Chinese are included.
