Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 ‘Encore for an Old Dream’ Launches February 6

HoYoverse has announced the Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 “Encore for an Old Dream” update will launch on February 6. The new update serves as an interlude following the final chapter of Season 2 as players begin to take part in New Eridu’s annual Gilded Carrot Day festivities. Fans can look forward to the debut of the idol group Angels of Delusion with new agents Sunna and Aria.

New Eridu will be decorated for Gilded Carrot Day, but under the surface, the Phaethon siblings are drawn to an urgent commission involving an illegal intelligent entity. The situation prompts them to join up with Jane Doe on Sixth Street once more. Meanwhile, the 404 Error music venue will host the Angels of Delusion for their first-ever live performance. 

Angels of Delusion’s Sunna and Aria will join as Physical Support and Ether Anomaly agents. Sunna excels at empowering Attack and Anomaly teammates, and her companion Bubblegum marks enemies with Cat’s Gaze, which detonates to deal damage while granting powerful Attack buffs. In Sunna’s Ultimate, she swings an oversized hammer to deal massive damage and trigger a Quick Assist. Meanwhile, Aria specializes in high burst damage against enemies afflicted with Attribute Anomalies through charged attacks, she’s adept at confronting foes head-on with her construct form and idol projection. Both of these characters will receive new outfits, and S-Rank agents Yixuan (Auric Ink – Rupture) and Yuzuha (Physical – Support) will return in this version’s rerun banners.

Version 2.6 will also introduce the “A Harmony of Delusions” event, where players manage training schedules and social media activities of the Angels of Delusion and guide theme through rhythm-based gameplay and an expanded Marcel Adventure. Hollow Zero also gets a new game mode titled Operation Matrix, which brings weekly rotating themed stages with unique mechanics. A new Sweep function will also be available in Hollow Zero.

There will also be several new rewards and limited-time events. Agents Lycaon and Harumasa will receive enhancements, and a new outfit for Pan Yinhu will be available through a limited-time event. To celebrate Gilded Carrot Day, a special Inter-Knot Membership event now lets players up to 3,300 Polychromes through daily activities. From February 14 to February 23, the festive event “Gilded Surprise, Wonderful Boo-ns” gives players a chance to share in a 4 billion Polychrome prize pool through daily logins.

Zenless Zone Zero is available now for PlayStation 5, Android, iOS, Xbox Series X|S and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store.
