Tribute Games has announced that Scott Pilgrim EX will release on March 3. The latest trailer also confirms the inclusion of Matthew Patel and Robot-01.
Matthew Patel and Robot-01, much like the other playable characters so far, are styled closer to their depictions in the original graphic novel and the Scott Pilgrim Takes Off anime. In the series and Scott Pilgrim vs. the World film, Satya Bhaba played the role of Matthew Patel. While Robot-01 doesn’t have a voice actor, he is the creation of two more major characters from the franchise: the Katayanagi twins. Their inclusion suggests that more of the series’ characters, including the “7 Evil Exes” will be playable.

Additionally, three physical editions are available to pre-order now on Limited Run Games. The first is the standard edition, which costs $39.99 and includes a reversible cover. Then there’s the Deluxe Adventure Edition, which costs $64.99, and includes a regular box and deluxe box (both with reversible covers), a game soundtrack featuring music by Anamanaguchi, and a tie-in comic by Bryan Lee O’Malley.
The last edition is the Ultimate Adventure Edition. It costs $174.99 and includes the following:

- Game Goose Replica Box – console not included. Game Goose is not a real console

Lastly, Scott Pilgrim EX will release on March 3 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
