The staff of the TV anime adaptation of Tadatoshi Fujimaki’s KILL BLUE manga series has announced that Daisuke Sakuma is joining the cast as the assassin Shin Kohazame. Daisuke Sakuma also shared a comment about landing the role of Shin Kohazame in KILL BLUE.

I'm Daisuke Sakuma, and I'll be voicing Shin Kohazame. I've been reading KILL BLUE since it was serialized in Weekly Shonen Jump, and even back then, my favorite character was Shin Kohazame. So from the audition, I was determined to land this role. I'm truly thrilled that I was fortunate enough to be chosen to play Shin. Shin is cool, but also a little strange. He's serious, but also a little strange. I'm going to pour my heart so I can fully capture those sides of him. Thank you, and I look forward to your support.

The KILL BLUE anime premieres in April 2026 on TV Tokyo and affiliate channels.
