Nintendo has released the overview trailer for the upcoming addition to the Nintendo Switch Online + Expansion Pack: Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics. It will be available on February 17.
The trailer outlines the games that will be available as part of the service when it releases:
- Galactic Pinball
- 3-D Tetris
- Teleroboxer
- Virtual Boy Wario Land
- The Mansion of Innsmouth
- Golf
- Red Alarm
To play Virtual Boy – Nintendo Classics, subscribers will need Joy-Con or Joy-Con 2 controllers and a dedicated accessory based on the original Virtual Boy hardware—stereoscopic 3D include. The overview trailer confirms that you can use the rewind functionality and the ability to rebind buttons. Later in 2026, Mario Clash, Mario’s Tennis, Jack Bros, Space Invaders, Virtual Bowling, Vertical Force, V-Tetris, Zero Racers, and D-Hopper will also be available as part of the service.
Additionally, after launch, players will be able to change the display’s colors to customize their experience. In order to use this feature, you must remove the lens cover from the accessory. This will not work with the cardboard Virtual Boy substitute. The Nintendo Switch 2 is available now for $449.99. Switch 2 owners with an Expansion Pack members can access various GameCube games right now, including Super Mario Strikers, SoulCalibur 2, The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker, and F-ZERO GX. Nintendo will add Super Mario Sunshine, Fire Emblem: Path of Radiance, Pokémon XD: Gale of Darkness, Super Mario Strikers, Chibi-Robo, Luigi’s Mansion, Pokémon Colosseum, and other GameCube games at a later date. A Nintendo Switch Online-exclusive GameCube controller is also available now.
