Toei Animation and Shueisha have announced Dragon Ball Super Beerus, an enhanced version of the first arc of the Dragon Ball Super anime with improved animation and sound, redrawn cuts, and a “reconstructed narrative.” Dragon Ball Super Beerus will premiere in fall 2026 on Fuji TV, and more details will be announced.
In addition, the Dragon Ball Super anime will continue in Dragon Ball Super The Galactic Patrol. Dragon Ball Super The Galactic Patrol will cover the events of the manga’s Moro arc, after much anticipation from fans. Before the reveal, a new trailer celebrating Dragon Ball’s 40th anniversary was released with music by renowned composer Hans Zimmer.
Bandai Namco also announced new DLC for Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO featuring new playable characters, costumes, stages, modes, and much more. Dragon Ball Sparking ZERO will also receive a new theme song “ZERO” by Hironobu Kageyama, the voice of Dragon Ball’s most iconic theme songs. A new Mission 100 mode, which is a returning feature from Dragon Ball Budokai Tenkaichi 3, will be added in a free update on January 26. The Nintendo Switch and Switch 2 versions will receive DLC and update content at a later date.
Further, Bandai Namco has announced Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000, a new game set for release in 2027. Dragon Ball New Game Project AGE 1000 will feature all-new original characters, along with those created and depicted by manga authors Akira Toriyama and Toyotarou. New details will be revealed at Dragon Ball Games Battle Hour 2026.
