Hitman: World of Assassination Cross-Progression Announced

IO Interactive has announced that Hitman: World of Assassination will add cross-progression on February 3. Players will be able to transfer progression, experience, and more across multiple platforms. 

The following can be transferred across multiple systems:

  • Experience 
  • Player Level 
  • Challenges 
  • Location Mastery 
  • Unlocks and Inventory 
  • Achievements / Trophies 
  • Freelancer Mode Progression 
  • Campaign Story Progress 

Cross-progression will be available across the Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, iPhone, iPad, and Mac. Hitman World of Assassination is available now on the aforementioned systems. The Switch 2 version includes the main campaign, Contracts mode, Escalation, and Elusive Targets. It also features the Freelancer game mode and all Hitman 2 and expansion content. In total, players can expect more than 100 hours of content, along with future updates and content developed by IO Interactive.

IO Interactive’s next game, 007 First Light, will launch on March 27, 2026 for Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. Pre-orders are available now for $69.99 with a free Deluxe Edition upgrade, and a Legacy Edition will be available for $299.99 featuring a Golden Gun figurine, Deluxe Edition DLC, and more.
