Super Rare Games has announced that a physical edition of Shovel Knight Dig will release for PlayStation 5 and Nintendo Switch on January 8. Only 4000 copies of the Switch edition and 2500 versions of the PlayStation 5 edition will be available.
The PlayStation 5 edition costs £32.40, or around $40. The Nintendo Switch version will be available for £37.20, or around $50. The Switch version includes a full cartridge, full-color manual, an exclusive sticker. It also features a set of 3 trading cards. Further, the PlayStation 5 version includes everything mentioned above with a disc instead of a cartridge, as well as interior art and a slipcover.
A new mainline Shovel Knight game is in development with no confirmed release date or platforms. Yacht Club Games also announced Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX, an enhanced edition of the original Shovel Knight title for PC via Steam. Shovel Knight Dig is available now for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and Apple Arcade.
