Kadokawa has announced that Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Season 2 will premiere in 2026. The anime’s cast, staff, and new teaser visual were also revealed.

The cast of the anime includes:

  • Takeo Ōtsuka as Leon
  • Kana Ichinose as Olivia
  • Fairouz Ai as Angelica
  • Ayane Sakura as Marie

  • Kenichi Suzumura as Julius Rapha Holfort
  • Kōsuke Toriumi as Jilk Fia Marmoria

Kazuya Miura directs Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs Season 2 at studio ENGI. Kenta Ihara handles the series scripts, and Masahiko Suzuki is the character designer and chief animation director. Tetsuya Watanabe is the CG director, and Shin’ichi Komeya is compositing director of photography.

Yomu Mishima launched the story of the light novel series in 2017, and the series ended with the 13th volume in March 2024. The first season of the anime premiered in April 2022, and Crunchyroll streamed the anime with English subtitles and an English dub.
