Koei Tecmo, Team NINJA and Gust are preparing new game releases for 2026, according to Gust producer Junzo Hosoi and Team NINJA president Fumihiko Yasuda in 4Gamer’s annual end-of-year interviews with Japanese developers. This is in addition to previously announced game releases from Koei Tecmo for 2026, such as Nioh 3 and FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE.
“In 2026, the Gust brand will continue to take on various challenges,” Hosoi said. “We’re taking on not only the Atelier series, but also fresh new titles, so please look forward to them.”
Yasuda said, “This year, several new Team NINJA titles will be released, including Nioh 3 on February 6 and FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE on March 12, so please be sure to check them out! We’ll also be sharing news on new titles and series that are sure to delight our fans, so please look forward to that.”
Nioh 3 will release on February 6, 2026, for PlayStation 5 and PC via Steam. FATAL FRAME II: Crimson Butterfly REMAKE will be coming to Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam on March 12, 2026.
Atelier Resleriana: The Red Alchemist & The White Guardian is available for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4 (Japan only), PlayStation 5, and PC via Steam. Final Weapon had the opportunity to interview Hosoi and producer Yasunori Sakuda about the game’s creation, the art style, and much more.
