The official website for Iya na Kao Sare Nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai R, the new anime adaptation of Shimahara’s doujin project Iya na Kao Sare Nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai (I Want You To Make a Disgusted Face and Show Me Your Underwear), confirmed the anime’s spring 2026 premiere. A new key visual for the Iya na Kao Sare Nagara Opantsu Misete Moraitai R anime was also released.
Saya Fukase is directing the anime at studio UWAN Pictures, and Shimahara is credited for the original work and being the general supervisor. Shizuka Ishigami will reprise her role as Chitose Itō in the anime
An exhibition with illustrations of the original work and anime was held at Art Gallery Akihabara in Tokyo from August 22 to 31. The exhibit also sold sell new merchandise.
What’s more, the original manga, which had the subtitle of “Yo wa Pantsu ga Mitai zo,” launched in May 2019 on Shueisha’s Tonari no Young Jump website and the YanJan! app. It received two compiled volumes. Shimahara’s doujin project currently has 10 volumes, and there are more than 70,000 books in print.
Lastly, the manga received its first 24-minute anime adaptation at the Comiket 94 event in August 2018, and this anime received a Blu-ray disc release at Tora no Ana stores. A second anime adaptation was released in November 2019 on Niconico Channel and on Blu-ray in December 2019.
