During the anime’s Jump Festa 2026 stage event, the staff of the TV anime adaptation of Tsuyoshi Takaki’s Black Torch manga revealed two new cast members. Reina Ueda is joining the cast of Black Torch as Hana Usami alongside Junichi Suwabe as Ryosuke Shiba.
In addition, a new illustration featuring characters Hana Usami and Ryosuke Shiba was released by Takaki.
The Black Torch anime will premiere in July 2026, and details regarding streaming and broadcasting for the anime will be revealed at a later date.
The Japanese main cast of the Black Torch anime includes:
- Ryota Suzuki as Jiro Azuma
- Yoji Ueda as Rago
- Sayaka Sembongi as Ichika Kishimojin
- Junya Enoki as Reiji Kirihara
Black Torch will receive an English dub with AJ Beckles starring as protagonist Jiro Azuma.
