During Day of the Devs: The Game Awards Edition 2025, Carl Burton and Mografi announced a new game titled Mirria. The game will release in 2026 for both PC and consoles, and a demo is available now on Steam

Check out the first trailer for Mirria below:

The Steam page describes the game as follows:

From Carl Burton, the creator of IGF Finalist Islands: Non-Places, MIRRIA is an atmospheric casual puzzle game where players navigate a strange, cryptic world that blurs the line between dream and reality. Using inspection and memory, players uncover hidden anomalies between mirrored worlds.

Each biome is a self-contained story. These mysterious progressions invite the player to imagine a strange, interconnected world.

Each area is replayable with unique solutions every time. Completing levels unlock new biomes, each revealing a world steeped in quiet atmosphere and ambient mystery

Mirria reimagines the simplicity of spot-the-difference game mechanics with mysterious, hand-crafted environments.

A handcrafted aesthetic by artist Carl Burton. Instantly recognizable and emotionally resonant.

Explore a surreal, ever-evolving world where every area is unexpected, but the controls and goals are always intuitive. You’re never lost, only intrigued.

Ambient sounds are modulated in real-time, creating a procedural soundscape that draws players deeper into these contemplative spaces.

Day of the Devs is a non-profit organization focused on highlighting a variety of different titles within the industry. Earlier this year, Day of the Devs held a showcase during Summer Game Fest 2025, which revealed new looks at titles such as NeverwayThick as Thieves, and Relooted. Currently, it is showing off new games in a stream meant to coincide with The Game Awards 2025. Check out the full showcase here.
