The staff of the TV anime adaptation of Yōsuke Kaneda’s The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch manga announced the anime’s April 2026 premiere on CBC, TBS, and several other channels in Japan. A new trailer for the anime was also released alongside a new key visual, along with more cast members and opening theme song of The Classroom of a Black Cat and a Witch, “Cusp” by ASCA.

Naoyuki Tatsuwa is directing the anime at LIDEN FILMS. Midori Gotō is handling the series scripts, and Takayuki Onoda is designing the characters.
Yōsuke Kaneda released the manga on Kodansha’s Magazine Pocket manga app in March 2022. Kodansha will publish the manga’s 12th compiled book volume on Thursday. Kodansha’s K MANGA service publishes the manga in English.
