To celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Tales of series, Bandai Namco released a new key visual by renowned animation studio ufotable. The new Tales of 30th anniversary key visual illustrates several protagonists, including Velvet Crowe from the newly announced Tales of Berseria Remastered.
Tales of Berseria Remastered launches on February 27, 2026, for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Pre-orders include the Super Adventuring Assistance Set, which includes Apple Gel x 10, Peach Gel x 10, Life Bottle x 10, and Panacea Bottle x 10. A Digital Deluxe Edition will be available for $59.99 featuring the Standard Edition ($39.99), the Battle BGM Pack, a digital artbook and soundtrack, and the bonus Super Growth Support Herb Set.
Tales of Berseria Remastered runs at 4K 60 FPS on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X, with Xbox Series S running the action RPG at 1440p 60 FPS. The Nintendo Switch version runs at 1080p 30FPS in docked mode and 720p 30FPS in handheld mode. Further, the remaster features all previously revealed DLC, and the opening movie features the same theme song from the original release of Tales of Berseria—”BURN” by FLOW.
Bandai Namco previously released Tales of Xillia Remastered on October 31 for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. Along with previously released DLC, the remaster includes notable quality of life enhancements, including auto-save and early access to the Grade Shop. The game also features the Dual Raid Linear Motion Battle System, a real-time combat system that allows players to unleash devastating combo attacks and unlock special support skills to overwhelm foes.
Tales of Xillia 2 Remastered and a new Tales of game are in development, according to series producer Yusuke Tomizawa. The latter will not release for some time, however, so players are encouraged to catch up with the new remasters.
