Tales of Xillia 2 Remastered and a new Tales of game are in development, according to series producer Yusuke Tomizawa in an interview with Famitsu (via Ryokutya2089). The Tales of Remaster project currently has two titles in development, with the next remaster to be announced soon.
According to Tomizawa, it will be a while before the new Tales of game is announced. While fans wait, the new remasters will be released, including Tales of Xillia Remastered and Tales of Xillia 2 Remastered. Tomizawa also shared that over 70% of Tales of sales are from overseas, or fans outside Japan.
The full interview can be read in the November 6 issue of Weekly Famitsu magazine, which released on October 23 in Japan. The new Famitsu issue also includes interviews with the voice cast of Tales of Xillia Remastered. Jude voice actor Yuki Kaji and Milla voice actress Miyuki Sawashiro are among the interviewees.
