A newly launched website has confirmed that a TV anime adaptation of Monshō Sakakibara’s Majutsu o Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyō de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru (A Reincarnated Elf, Who Mastered Magic and Embarked on a Journey, Becomes a Living Legend With Excess Lifespan) light novel series is in the works. Manga adaptation artist kanco drew a new illustration to celebrate the anime’s announcement.
Sakakibara launched the Majutsu o Kiwamete Tabi ni Deta Tensei Elf, Moteamashita Jumyō de Ikeru Densetsu to Naru series on the Kakuyomu website in 2021. Starts Publishing has released one volume of the novel with illustrations by Hatori Kyoka in 2022.
kanco launched the manga adaptation on Novema in May 2023 under Starts Publishings’ isekai comic label Glast COMICS. The manga is being serialized on the Manga Zegra website digitally. The manga’s fifth volume releases on November 28 in Japan.
