The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2026 with a new project titled “The Gratitude of Haruhi Suzumiya.” The Gratitude of Haruhi Suzumiya will include a new scale figure of Haruhi from KDcolle and a revival screening of The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya across 32 theaters in Japan.
The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya will be playing in Japanese theaters for a two-week period starting February 6, 2026. In addition, a new updated trailer and key visual for The Disappearance of Haruhi Suzumiya was released.
