Verizon has announced that it is giving out units of the original Nintendo Switch as part of a Black Friday deal. You can also get a Samsung TV or Samsung tablet as part of the deal.

In order to receive the Nintendo Switch, alongside a new internet plan, you must have a Fios, 5G Home Ultimate, or LTE Home Plus internet plan. These plans start at $35 per month. The Switch is in limited supply and will be available until November 25, 2025. For those who do not have an original Switch and happen to have a Verizon plan, this is the Black Friday deal for you.

Recently, Nintendo released Pokémon Legends: Z-A on October 16 for Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2. The Nintendo Switch version of Pokémon Legends: Z-A costs $59.99, the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition costs $69.99, and the upgrade pack costs $9.99. On December 10, fans will embark on a new journey with the upcoming Mega Dimension DLC for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, featuring the mythical Pokémon Hoopa. In the new DLC, Pokémon Legends Z-A players can discover new Mega Evolutions, including Mega Raichu X and Mega Raichu Y.

The Pokémon Company released a new sales update for Pokémon Legends: Z-A, confirming that the game reached 5.8 million copies sold in the first week of its launch. According to The Pokémon Company, nearly half of all copies of Pokémon Legends: Z-A were sold on Nintendo Switch 2.

In Famitsu’s latest sales chart, Pokémon Legends: Z-A was the best-selling game of the week with 872,552 copies sold on Switch and 612,905 on Switch 2. The game has sold a total of 1,485,457. That said, it’s worth noting that this is not the full count of sales in Japan, since it doesn’t track digital eShop sales.
