BitSummit PUNCH is Set for May 22 to 24, 2026

The annual indie game convention returns.

The Bitsummit Executive Committee has announced BitSummit PUNCH will take place at the Miyako Messe (Kyoto International Exhibition Hall) from Friday, May 22, to Sunday, May 24, 2026. BitSummit PUNCH is the 2026 iteration of the annual BitSummit indie gaming convention, and the theme for the event is “‘High Impact,’ making your mark on the industry with the resources you have available.”

On May 22, BitSummit PUNCH will open as a business day for industry professionals, developers, publishers, media, and sponsors. The public will have access game demos, activities, and other experiences on May 23 and May 24. For 2026, BitSummit aims to create impact and spread awareness both online and at the show floor about indie games from Japan and the rest of the world.

What’s more, exhibitor applications for BitSummit PUNCH are now available. The entry fee is 2,750 yen per title (tax included), and there’s an entry deadline set for December 31 at 4:00 p.m. JST. The entry fee covers the review fee for title submissions, and it’s non-refundable, regardless of review results. Further, the exhibition fee is 33,000 yen per booth (tax included). The fee covers booth setup after passing the screening process, and student discounts are available.
