Capcom and GOG announced Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil HD Remaster are now available on GOG.com without DRM as part of the GOG Preservation Program. GOG players can also purchase the Resident Evil Classic Bundle, which includes Resident Evil 0 and Resident Evil HD Remaster alongside the original game, Resident Evil 2, and Resident Evil 3.

“We’re thrilled to continue this journey with Capcom and expand the Program with two survival horror icons,” GOG said on X (formerly Twitter). “Thank you, Capcom, for believing in video game preservation, and to all the passionate people within the company who have dedicated a significant amount of their energy to making these releases possible. The future of Resident Evil looks as strong as its past. We’re honored to help preserve it.”

Capcom also opened pre-orders for Resident Evil Requiem and revealed a new Deluxe Edition, Nintendo Switch 2 Pro Controller, and new Grace amiibo. All pre-orders include the “Apocalypse” costume for Grace, and players who pre-order on Epic Games Store receive special collaboration items in Fortnite, including the Grace outfit.

Fans can also look forward to Nintendo Switch 2 versions of Resident Evil biohazard Gold Edition and Resident Evil Village Gold Edition, launching the same day as Resident Evil Requiem. A Resident Evil Generation Pack bundle, exclusive to Nintendo Switch 2, will include all three games. Pre-orders are available now for $89.99 in the Nintendo eShop.

Resident Evil Requiem launches February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC via Steam, and the game has already surpassed two million wishlists. This past June, we had the opportunity to experience hands-off gameplay of Resident Evil Requiem at Summer Game Fest
