Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 Anime Series Gets 8 New ‘Director’s Vision’ Videos

The staff of Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26, the anthology anime series adapting eight short stories created by Chainsaw Man manga artist Tatsuki Fujimoto between ages 17 and 26, released eight new “director’s vision” videos highlighting the unique direction that each director had for their respective anime episodes.

Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 will be streaming globally on Prime Video starting November 7 in more than 240 countries and territories. There will two parts of four episodes, totaling at eight episodes for the series. 

The staff of Tatsuki Fujimoto 17-26 includes directors Tetsuaki Watanabe, Nobuyuki Takeuchi, and Kazuaki Terasawa. Animation studios ZEXCS, Lapin Track, GRAPH77, 100studio, Studio Kafka, and P.A.WORKS will be producing the series with FLAGSHIP LINE as production supervisor. 

Here are synopses for the episodes:

A Couple Clucking Chickens Were Still Kickin’ in the Schoolyard tells the tale of two survivors’ bond in a post-apocalyptic world, while Sasaki Stopped a Bullet explores the intense emotions of adolescence. Love is Blind presents a sci-fi romantic comedy about love on a cosmic scale, and Shikaku follows an unhinged assassin girl’s twisted love story. Mermaid Rhapsody weaves a touching romance between a boy and a mermaid centered around an underwater piano, whereas Woke-Up-as-a-Girl Syndrome delves into finding one’s true self beyond gender norms. Nayuta of the Prophecy chronicles the journey of siblings bound by a harsh destiny, and Sisters depicts rivalry, conflict, and growth between artistically inclined sisters.
