Honkai Impact 3rd Version 8.5 ‘A Lightful Love’ Releases on October 23

HoYoverse has announced that Version 8.5 of Honkai Impact 3rd, titled “A Lightful Love,” will release on October 23. The update features a new S-rank battlesuit, new stories, locations, events, and more. 

Elysia’s new battlesuit is named “Hi♪ Love Elf♥”. It’s an SD-type suit who can repel enemies with her bow, summon little messengers to deliver a 4-hit combo, and also includes her recommended weapon, known as “Pure Love’s Whisper. Further, the stigma set “Blissful Days” will be available at the same time, which “depicts the cozy daily life of the beautiful elf who is a resident of the Golden Courtyard.”

A new story event will also be available, titled “Reunited Under the Light of Faith.” The chapter introduces a brand new region: the new home city of Difeng. Difeng blends nature and technology, is built by Senadina and her friends, and is where Leylah grew up. The story will focus on Dreamseeker exploring the Natural History Memorial Hall in Difeng. Alongside the new story, a new version event will begin. The event is titled “With You! Youthful Dreams.” It features St. Freya High School and the Golden Courtyard jointly hosting a unique team-building session.
