Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Season 2 Reveals More Cast Members

The staff of the Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Season 2 has announced two more cast members for the ongoing series. The Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Season 2 cast now includes Kiyono Yasuno as Artbaran Henning (above left) and Yūki Wakai as Mary Auden (above right).

Let This Grieving Soul Retire! Season 2 is airing Tokyo MX, BS NTV, Sun TV, MBS, and AT-X channels, and Crunchyroll is streaming the anime.

Kiyono Yasuno performs the opening theme song “Algorithm.” i☆Ris performs the ending theme song “Yume no Hitokakera (Fragment of a Dream).” 

The cast includes:

  • Kenshō Ono as Krai Andrey
  • Miyu Kubota as Tino Shade
  • Haruka Shiraishi as Lapis Fulgor
  • Yū Serizawa as Kris Argent 
  • Satomi Amano as Chloe Welter

Tsukikage initially launched Let This Grieving Soul Retire! in January 2018, and its story ended that following December. The 13th volume released on September 30, 2024, and J-Novel Club released the seventh novel volume in English on May 19, 2025. 

Additionally, Kadokawa publishes a manga adaptation in April 2019 by Rai Habino. Yen Press publishes the manga in English.

Six childhood friends make a vow one day to become treasure hunters, and eventually grow to be the strongest heroes in the world. During his first quest, Krai Andrey realizes he isn’t cut out for the job. Even so, his friends make him their leader. Underpowered in the face of great expectations, Krai embarks on a reluctant hero’s tale of glory, headaches, and wanting to retire early.
