HoYoverse announced the Genshin Impact Version Luna II “Song of the Welkin Moon: Reprise – An Elegy for Faded Moonlight” update launches on October 22, featuring the new Miliastra Wonderland UCG system. The Genshin Impact Version Luna II update also reintroduces familiar faces like Varka and Arlecchino, and Nefer debuts as a playable character.

The Miliastra Wonderland system gives players hundreds of Stages to explore in Genshin Impact Version Luna II. Available to those who completed Act I of the Archon Quest Prologue, “The Outlander Who Caught the Wind,” players can explore the magical world and enjoy a variety of gameplay experiences, including sims management, party games, PvP battles, adventure challenges, and more, with friends or by themselves. Many Stages also feature achievements, ranking systems, and leaderboards.

Player avatars are known as Manekins, which can be customized to match individual preferences for both Miliastra Wonderland and Teyvat. Their appearances can be freely customized, including hair, facial features, accessories, and outfits. Outfit Components can be mixed and matched, but players can also opt for a preset outfit set with a single click. Players can also earn rewards in Miliastra Wonderland through events and activities, including trial vouchers for outfits, outfit sets, and more.

Players can step into the role of Craftsperson with the Miliastra Sandbox, and editing tool that lets them design their own Stages and experiences with a wide array of features and resources. Edit various components and modules, including terrains, item components and even character skills, and then link different elements together with logic flows while configuring various Stage types and game modes to create your own experiences. There will also be comprehensive support tools and services to make the process smoother and more rewards. Some of the tools that players can expect are official tutorials, a dedicated forum, opportunities for Stage recommendations, and additional incentive programs.

Version Luna II also continues the Archon Quest, as players continue to contend with the threat posed by Rerir, the “Rächer of Solnari.” Grand Master Varka will appear alongside unexpected allies from the Fatui Harbingers. Under the guidance of The Damselette, Nefer from the Curatorium of Secrets will bring more intel Rerir, which could be vital in uncovering his obsessions and unveiling new ways to confront him. By the end, players can claim an extra 560 Primogems upon completing the Archon Quest in Version “Luna II.”

Nefer is a playable 5-star Dendro catalyst wielder capable of dealing Lunar-Bloom damage, thanks to her Verdant Dew ability. Her Elemental Skill can absorb Verdant Dew to transform Charged Attacks into special Charged Attacks that consume no Stamina and deal Lunar-Bloom damage. Once the party enters Ascendant Gleam state, Nefer can convert Dendro Cores on the field into Seeds of Deceit to further amplify her special Charged Attacks. As the Curatorium of Secrets, she can sense when even the most unassuming people are hiding something. Players can trade the intel she collects at the Adventurers’ Guild to get fun side stories.

Nefer will be available alongside a Furina rerun in the first half of Luna II, while the second half re-introduces Arlecchino and Zhongli. Players can assist The Damselette with Commissions in exchange for rewards, including the Ascendant Gleam state and exclusive namecards, in a new event. What’s more, players can uncover new secrets in the Seasonal Event in Sumeru, which includes Primogem rewards and free 4-star character Collei.

Lastly, Genshin Impact is available now for Android, iOS, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A Nintendo Switch version is currently in development, but a release date has not been announced yet.
