The official X (formerly Twitter) account for the TV anime adaptation of Q Hayashida’s Dorohedoro manga series confirmed a spring 2026 premiere for Dorohedoro Season 2. A new key visual for Dorohedoro Season 2 was also revealed, and the anime will “stream almost simultaneously worldwide.
Yuichiro Hayashi is returning to direct the new season at MAPPA, and Tomohiro Kishi is returning as the character designer. Dorohedoro Season 2 was previously planned to premiere in 2025.
Hayashi directed the first anime season at MAPPA. Hiroshi Seko was in charge of the series scripts, and Kishi designed the characters. [K]NoW_NAME composed the music. The first season of Dorohedoro is streaming right now on Netflix with 12 episodes.

In a city so dismal it’s known only as “the Hole,” a clan of Sorcerers have been plucking people off the streets to use as guinea pigs for atrocious “experiments” in the black arts. In a dark alley, Nikaido found Caiman, a man with a reptile head and a bad case of amnesia. To undo the spell, they’re hunting and killing the Sorcerers in the Hole, hoping that eventually they’ll kill the right one. But when En, the head Sorcerer, gets word of a lizard-man slaughtering his people, he sends a crew of “cleaners” into the Hole, igniting a war between two worlds.
