Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade and Final Fantasy VII Rebirth Twin Pack physical edition will launch on December 4 for PlayStation 5. Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade & Rebirth Twin Pack physical copies include both games across three Blu-ray discs for $69.99.
Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade is coming to Xbox Series X|S and Nintendo Switch 2 on January 22, 2026, and a demo is planned for release before the end of 2025. Featuring the base game and the Episode INTERmission DLC featuring Yuffie Kisaragi, the Nintendo Switch 2 version will run at 30 FPS with “smooth performance and crisp visuals.” What’s more, the new release includes a “Streamlined Progression” feature, allowing players to focus on the story with various modifiers enabled. Players will have unlimited MP and HP at all times, unlimited limit and ATB gauge during battles, 9,999 damage, easier weapon ability acquisition, and more.
According to Naoki Hamaguchi, the power of Nintendo Switch 2 allows Square Enix to “recreate Midgar with full specs,” making Final Fantasy VII Remake Intergrade possible on the platform. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and Remake Part 3 are coming to Nintendo Switch 2 and Xbox Series X|S as part of Square Enix’s multiplatform strategy.
Final Weapon reviewed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth and gave it a 5/5 score, where we stated, “Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is a generational RPG that exemplifies everything there is to love about the medium.” Final Fantasy VII Rebirth is Final Weapon’s Game of the Year for 2024 as well.
