Crunchyroll announced that the upcoming That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea film will be heading to theaters worldwide, excluding most Asian territories. An English subtitled trailer and key visual for the film were also released.
That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Azure Sea premieres in Japanese theaters on February 27, 2026. The movie will have an original plot that wasn’t featured in the manga and main novel series.
8-Bit is the studio behind the animation of That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Slime the Movie: Tears of the Blue Sea Arc. Cast members from the anime series will reprise their roles in the film.
