Kuro Games announced Wuthering Waves Version 2.7 “Dawn Breaks on Dark Tides” will launch on October 9 for Android, iOS, PC via Windows and Epic Games Store, and PlayStation 5. Wuthering Waves Version 2.7 will feature new main quests, Echoes, in-game optimizations, and much more.

Optimizations
  • Resonator Ascension Planner
    • The Resonator Ascension Planner will be available in Version 2.7. This new feature can be accessed via the Resonator menu. The planner has four sections: Resonator, Weapon, Echo, and Skill. Personalized plans will be automatically generated for all Resonators based on your current SOL3 Phase.
  • Better Quest Experience
    • The “Journey Log” feature will be added to the Quest system. Journey Log allows you to view all the Main Quests (chapters), with each chapter divided into different Acts. In future updates, Journey Log will incorporate other Quest types.
  • User Interface Upgrade and New Features
    • The event menu will be upgraded; Events will be divided into three categories: Featured Events, Recurring Events, and Permanent Events, for ease of access. A new summary panel for Recurring Events will be added to the map where you’ll be able to get reminders for these events and track your current progress.
    • The Gallery will include a new category: Enemies. You can view detailed Information on all the enemies you’ve defeated on your journey
    • The “Terminal Swap” feature will also be added. Upon completing Version 2.7’s Main Quests, you can obtain a new Terminal, “Daylight Flintstone.” You can then switch between Terminals.
  • Environmental Interactions
    • Global Filter will be made available across all platforms in Version 2.7. (Mobile users can try out this feature when it becomes available in Version 2.7.)
    • The “Eye Comfort” option will be added to the Settings menu. By clicking into the “Eye Comfort” settings, you can customize color temperature, brightness, intensity, and other parameters. Additionally, in Version 2.7, the interactive effects and details are further refined; more Resonators and skills can interact with the environment, making exploration more immersive.

Wuthering Waves launched on May 22, 2024 for Android, iOS, and PC via Windows and Epic Games Store. A PlayStation 5 version was released this past January, followed by the Steam version in April 2025.
