Aniplex revealed announced Hiroshi Fujioka is reprising his role as the original Kamen Rider in the anime adaptation of Yokusaru Shibata’s Tojima Wants to be a Masked Rider manga, which premieres on October 4. A Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider promotional video featuring Hiroshi Fujioka and cast member Katsuyuki Konishi (Tanzaburō Tōjima) was also released.

Takahiro Ikezoe is the director of the Tojima Wants to Be a Kamen Rider anime. Touko Machida is the series composition writer, and Cindy H. Yamauchi is the character designer. TeddyLoid is the composer, and LIDENFILMS is producing the anime. The opening theme “Wanna Be” will be performed by Teddyloid feat. Shigeru Matsuzaki accelerated by TOPHAMHAT-KYO.

Lastly, Shibata first launched the manga with cooperation from Ishimori Productions and Toei in the Monthly Hero’s magazine in 2018. The manga later moved to the Comiplex website, where it is still ongoing.
