MAPPA released the creditless opening movie for the second season of anime adaptation of Rumiko Takahashi’s Ranma 1/2 manga, which premieres on October 4. The Ranma 1/2 Season 2 opening movie features the theme song “Wo Ai Ni” by Wednesday Campanella. As previously announced, Nishina performs the anime’s ending theme song “Panda Girl.”

Ranma 1/2 Season 2 will premiere on October 4 at 24:55, or October 5 at 12:55 a.m. JST, on NTV. Netflix will stream new episodes directly after the TV broadcast.
Kōnosuke Uda directed the first season at MAPPA. Kimiko Ueno handles the series scripts, and Hiromi Taniguchi handles the character design. Kōsuke Kawamura joins the staff as one of the chief animation directors, and Ryūta Hayashi joins Chihiro Ōkawa in directing the art.
