The “ABEMA Anime Festival 2025” event revealed the main cast members for the TV anime adaptation of Jinushi’s Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You (Super no Ura de Yani Sū Futari) manga, which premieres in 2026 on TBS. A newly released promotional video confirms Takuya Satō voices Sasaki and Seena Hoshiki voices Yamada/Tayama in the Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You anime series.
Jinushi released the Smoking Behind the Supermarket with You manga on X (formerly Twitter) in March 2022, before serialization in Square Enix’s Big Gangan magazine in August 2022. Square Enix released the sixth compiled volume of the manga on January 24 and released the seventh volume on July 25. The manga is available to read in English via BOOK WALKER.
