Dragami Games announced Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Nintendo Switch 2 Edition will launch in November 2025 worldwide. Nintendo Switch owners of Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP will be able to upgrade to the Nintendo Switch 2 Edition via an upgrade pack, but it’s unclear if its a free or paid upgrade.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP Nintendo Switch 2 Edition features major improvements in resolution, frame rate, and graphics quality compared to the Switch version. What’s more, the game will be playable at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25 to 28 at the Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Players who try out the demo will receive a special clear file as a gift.
The Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP 1st Anniversary Costume Design Contest is open and taking submissions for designs until October 13 at 23:59 JST. Voting for the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP 1st Anniversary Costume Design Contest will be held until October 27 at 23:59 JST. The winning design will make its way into the game as a costume for Juliet in a free winter update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.
Previously, Nada Holdings and Dragami Games teamed up to announce a new Lollipop Chainsaw game and anime were in the works. The development team of the new game involves key staff members that were part of the previous Lollipop Chainsaw game, and an official X (formerly Twitter) account for the upcoming project has been opened.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Lastly, the Xbox One version may be upgraded to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
