Voting for the Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP 1st Anniversary Costume Design Contest will be held until October 27 at 23:59 JST. The winning design will make its way into the game as a costume for Juliet in a free winter update for Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP.
Dragami Games previously announced Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP has surpassed 300,000 copies sold worldwide. The company thanks fans for supporting Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP as it reached 300,000 copies sold, and a “special project” will be released to celebrate the game’s first 1st anniversary in September.
Previously, Nada Holdings and Dragami Games teamed up to announce a new Lollipop Chainsaw game and anime were in the works. The development team of the new game involves key staff members that were part of the previous Lollipop Chainsaw game, and an official X (formerly Twitter) account for the upcoming project has been opened.
Nada Holdings and Dragami Games also announced a partnership to jointly develop and launch new Lollipop Chainsaw projects as part of an IP development initiative. The initiative aims to expand the franchise through multifaceted projects and cross-industry collaborations, which could more than just games and anime.
Lollipop Chainsaw RePOP is available now for Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC via Steam. The game runs at 1080p at 30 FPS on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One. Lastly, the Xbox One version may be upgraded to the Xbox Series X|S version via Smart Delivery.
